Why are there different types of forms?

You may have received different types of forms: some asking for full traceability details along with a few technical specifications, and others that are simpler, requesting only the countries of origin. That’s perfectly normal!

Our clients—international fashion brands—can choose different levels of detail for their collaboration with Fairly Made :

  • Standard forms : These forms are the most common. They ask you to provide enough information to allow us to contact your suppliers and, by repeating this process step by step, identify all the suppliers involved in the production of each material, all the way back to the raw material stage. These forms also allow us to gather some technical information that helps refine the environmental impact calculations of the products. The main goals are to gain a better understanding of the supply chain and to conduct detailed product impact analyses.

  • Simplified forms : These simpler forms are easier to fill out but less comprehensive than the standard ones. They only require you to declare the countries where the main transformation steps took place. These forms are used in projects that aim solely to help fashion brands comply with the French AGEC law.

The type of form is chosen in agreement with the brand at the beginning of the collaboration. We kindly ask you to adapt to this choice to ensure the smooth running of each project.
